Reporting or blocking someone from a comment or message
On a shared idea, tap ⋯ next to someone's comment or chat message. Choose Report this comment (or message) to tell us about it, or Block to stop seeing them.
When you report, pick what's wrong and add details if you like. "Include what they wrote so the team can see it" is ticked to start: leave it on and the Ideario team can read that one comment or message, so we can act on it. Untick it and the team sees who wrote it, but not the words. Only the Ideario team sees reports, and the person isn't told who sent it. We act on every report within 24 hours. When something breaks our community rules, we remove it and the person who posted it.
When you block someone:
- If it's your idea, they're removed from it and from any other idea you've shared with them.
- If it's their idea, you leave it, along with every other idea they've shared with you.
- If you're both on someone else's idea, you both stay, but you won't see their comments or messages anymore.
Either way, neither of you can share with the other again. To undo it, open You › Security and tap Unblock under Blocked people.
Comments and chat messages on shared ideas are also checked against our community rules before they're posted. Ideario Intelligence does the check, not a person, and it never reads ideas nobody else can see. If something you write seems to break the rules, it isn't posted and you're told why. Think it's a mistake? Write to us from Help.
